MILWAUKEE--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Temple University's School of Pharmacy, based in Philadelphia, Pa., presented its 2010 Certificate of Honor to Restat President David Kwasny, R.ph, Saturday, April 10, at the University's annual Founder's Dinner.

Dean Peter H. Doukas, Ph.D, said Kwasny serves as a sterling example of the limitless opportunities available to Temple graduates. "He was selected by the school's alumni association because of his outstanding achievements as a corporate leader including serving as president of Restat, a major pharmacy benefits manager (PBM)," said Doukas. "We believe such achievements arise as a result of the quality of an individual's character, extraordinary work ethic, and an internally motivated drive to accomplish good works on behalf of the broader human community."

Prior to being appointed President in April 2009, David served as Restat's Vice President of Sales. A licensed pharmacist with extensive experience in all aspects of community pharmacy, Kwasny's career has focused upon sales leadership and operational pharmacy management. He served as a Regional Sales Director for ProVantage, Script Card and Health Care Pharmacy Providers and worked for the Kmart Corporation's AmeriKind Pharmacy Network as a Pharmacy District Manager and Key Account Manager.

Kwasny was inducted into the University's Gallery of Success in 2007, and serves on the School of Pharmacy's Board of Visitors.
